		<description>Aloha everyone,

I was asked recently which of my books is my favorite. My response was "the next one". While that is true, I always look forward to my next book more than I look back at my last book, this book "The Bones of the Kuhina Nui" will always hold a special place for me. It was my first serious book, my first mystery/thriller, my start of the Kohala Coast series. I had fun with the research for this book. I had fun writing it. I was thrilled when Cindy Conklin gave me permission to use her artwork for the cover. . . gratis! If I could write it over again one of the few changes I would make is that I would title it "The Old Queen's Bones", so that it would lead into my series better. But at the time I didn't know this was going to become a series.

This is also the first book of mine that I've had to go to a second printing. Gee, I wish I had to do that with my other books.

Mahalo for reading,
