Ellie Crowe was born in South Africa and has lived in Australia, New Guinea, and California.  She now resides in Hawai‘i with her husband, William.  They have three children, Juliet, Caroline and Adam.  She loves exploring new places and reading, writing and teaching English Literature.  Her love for children’s literature was renewed when teaching English to Japanese, Chinese and Korean children in Hawai‛i.

Julie Wu graduated from the Academy of Art University in August 2003 with a bachelor’s of fine arts degree in illustration with a digital emphasis.  Her artwork has been seen in numerous exhibitions throughout San Francisco, and in 2003 at the New York Society of Illustrators National Student Exhibition.  Go To Sleep Hide & Seek is Julie’s first book with Island Heritage.
