Readings from Talking Hawai‘i’s Story will be featured in the program, directed and produced by Aloha Shorts. Light refreshments will be provided. Free on-campus parking.
The event is co-sponsored by the Center for Oral History, the Center for Biographical Research, and the Hawai‘i Council for the Humanities.
Edited by Michi Kodama-Nishimoto, Warren S. Nishimoto, and Cynthia A. Oshiro, the anthology includes 29 oral history narratives of longtime island residents. Published by the University of Hawai‘i Press for the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa’s Center for Oral History and Center for Biographical Research.
