		<description>Thanks, Michael, for a thought provoking post!   It reminds me of some comments at the RWA Aloha Chapter meeting two weeks ago.  We hosted contemporary romance author HelenKay Dimon.  She shared her journey through publishing and quoted Nora Roberts, "You can't edit a blank page."   As you pointed out in your blog, the trick is for authors to keep that spark that ignited them to write the first draft as they edit it 39 times or more!</description>
