Kaua Kuloko 1895
Kaua Kuloko 1895 was printed in the same year of the famous civil battle between the patriots of the Kingdom of Hawaii and the Republican forces that had overthrown the constitutional monarchy. The goal of the failed rebellion was to return Queen Lili‘uokalani to the throne. This is the only known text where the information and the sequence of events of that unforgettable period are gathered together and published in the Hawaiian language.
