Lucy and Lilo Help the Honu

Text and illustrations by Mary Kate WrightLucy and Lilo start their day with a trip to the beach. While swimming, sniffing and exploring the beach, they discover a pile of eggs in the sand.
Soon the eggs hatch, and Lucy and Lilo find themselves surrounded by baby honu. The dogs quickly learn that the small honu have no time to play—they must reach the ocean.

Notorious “Hopping Ghost” commonly seen in Hong Kong cinema. More vampire or blood-thirsty corpse than ghost, these P’o-animated bodies are so limited in their movements from rigor that they have to literally hop to get from place to place. Mythical serpent deity whose body is said to arch across the sky as a rainbow. Known by various names across the Aboriginal continent, this totemic ancestor resides in waterholes and rock pools that contain his life-giving rain. He is most associated with human fertility and nature, particularly the regeneration of life. It is this distinction that makes it the most significant Aboriginal deity, and great care must be taken to treat its resources respectfully and to avoid its wrath.
